vMix will automatically accept the invite after some time and join the breakout room.
It may take 20-30 seconds for the video/audio to re-establish again once in the breakout room and at least one other participant has joined in addition to vMix.
Zoom Breakout Rooms in vMix
In order to use Breakout Rooms in Zoom within vMix, the following requirements must be met:
1. The Zoom meeting needs to be hosted from the separate Zoom Workspace app to manage the meeting and breakout rooms.
It is not possible to create or manage breakout rooms from within vMix directly.
2. Make sure the latest Zoom Plugin for vMix is installed. This is listed under the heading (Latest) at the following page:

2. Once the meeting is started, connect to the meeting from vMix with the Capture Mode set to Recording.

3. Make sure video and audio is working in both directions prior to setting up or joining Breakout Rooms.

4. From the Zoom Workspace app, create the breakout rooms and assign the vMix participant to the room.
